Inevitably, this leads to depletion of the Earth’s natural resources at exponential rates, exploitation of workers around the world, and overwhelming amounts of waste production.

Sustainable Fashion is a term used to describe the way in which sustainable brands create clothing that not only reduces their impact on the environment, but also is mindful of the people who work to produce the garments. It describes the use of carefully thought-out manufacturing and processing methods employed throughout the lifespan of a garment – production, consumption, and disposal. The Sustainable Fashion Movement aims to reduce the large carbon footprint that fast fashion has created by reducing waste production, air pollution, water pollution, and climate change.
